How come you make everything look so easy and you always look so well groomed -I always come back into house -Looking like I’ve been pulled through the hedge backwards-literally!!
I love seeing your beautiful home and tips -your great
This was very interesting and you are so good at explaining everything. We have lots of ivy which apparently rats love. These are a good alternative as I doubt rats would like thorns.
What a lovely job, JP. You'll have masses of new flowers when they are trained to the horizontal. And your steps (spotted in your aiG feed) look sooo good too! I just love weeding and pruning as I find them therapeutic. Who even am I?!😅 Btw, that wall! Swoon.
You go for it Susie! In all honesty, you know I’d love to get started on the plans, but there’s no point. Building work on the back of the house next year would ruin it all. It’s worth waiting for. Xxx
Ne’er cast a clout till May be out! 😀 The weeding made such a difference!
Totally agree that only scented plants should be planted and preferably without thorns! I planted lots of climbers from David Austin for our last garden and the search was high fragrance, no thorns, no red, yellow or orange! 😂 Some thorns did creep in though!
I’ve decided against roses here. 🙈 I know! Sacre bleu!
The only climbers so far (still waiting to be planted) are two hydrangeas.
Love seeing the progress in your gorgeous new garden! X
Great tip there darling about the horizontal . That’s going to look blooming gorgeous this time next month ! Xx it’s just not been watched at all for a few years ..you are on it xxx

🤣 You should have seen me after the day of step weeding, I was dirty mess!
How fabulous to have that soundtrack to work too !!!!!
Can’t wait to see the progress of the rose
It’s very happy! There are new happy shoots already Beverly.
I need to get that bird song app to find out what they all are!

Now that would be worth investigating!
Beautiful beautiful! 😍 can’t wait to see it!!
Hopefully very soon!
Can’t wait to see what you do with this garden JP
Thank you Sophie x
Very bold!
Probably too bold, although new shoots are appearing.
😝😜🤪
Lovely seeing a video! You tamed that rose!😜🙋🏼♀️🫶🏻☀️
🤣 perhaps a tad too much, but it is already showing signs of recovery and rejuvenation. Xx
I'm so sorry, the shorts and summer dress came out yesterday and we had a BBQ last night 🙈 And now it's raining 😫
It was you Libby! It was you!
I know 🥹😭 Beautiful rose btw! Love your brick and flint wall too 💙
🤣🤣😩
It will be so worth it in a few months when it flourishes. I quite like seeing the rustic wall 🌸
Love that wall Sandra. There are already new little green shoots on the rose too!
It’s just too small I think. I’ve opted for espaliers of figs and pears. Might squeeze a rose in at some point next year! X
Love the idea of those!
Here’s hoping! 🤞🏼❤️🍐

The flint is so pretty isn’t it! You can’t beat a bit of weeding to make you feel instantly better Franny. X
What patience 👏👏 if you keep you that plan. Dont be tempted to look at any of the amazing plant offers or indeed any plants and you’ll be fine
I, on the other hand have 50 plants potted up and the guys are coming to do the heavy work cutting out the new borders next week

Very sensible and you’ll be glad you waited. Builders and gardens definitely don’t mix
Plants are invisible to them!

Why no roses this time Penny? I have to say I want quite a few here. Love a climbing hydrangea.
Love the basket troughs 🙌🙌🙌
They have been so successful. From Cox and Cox.
