Love your plans JP! That glass is amazing too. I saw that on a Grand Designs episode too used for bedroom doors and never forgot it. Looking forward to the grand reveal of the painted wall and glass! 🥰

That’s exactly it Rebecca, some time ago, but it was rather dramatic wasn’t it! So excited about it all.

What a fab design..and planning won’t be a problem either I shouldn’t think . Poor old Tomasz Schafernaker , he’s not had a very good year has he ? 😂 I love him though X happy Sunday darling enjoy the garden Xx fabulous update !

Bless Tomasz, I do love him too. Yes, hopefully as there is a precedent for the dormers it should be no problem.

Sounds fabulous all the upstairs one big fabulous master suit, looking forward to seeing what the architects and you both come up with. The glass on the mezzanine looks amazing, such a great idea. Hope the beams come up lighter easily, take care and don't fall off the mezzanine! Have a lovely sunny Sunday. X

I’ll certainly do my best to not fall off. The beams are such hard work, but it’s worth it.

Sounding amaaaziiinnnggg!! 👌🏼 Looking forward to seeing all your beautiful pink errr I mean blue hydrangeas too 🩵 Love the history of your home! My house is on an old apple orchard and our deeds say we can't keep pigs! 🐷 The last 2 apple trees were in my my neighbours garden but they were diseased and had to be removed a year or so ago. Enjoy the sunshine ☀️ xx

Expand full comment

All very exciting Libby. Are you disappointed you can’t keep pigs? 🤣 and also, are you planning on planting a new apple tree?

Expand full comment

Devastated!! 😂😂 My mum used to have pigs as a child in Northampton. Random! But there's a connection here! 🐷😆Apple tree is on the list. My garden is all pots, we've moved so many times I never wanted to leave anything behind. But I feel an apple tree should stay as a nod to the old orchard if we did ever move xx

I’m really pleased to read that Libby.
