Me and my daughter made keepsake candles for her baby shower. It was fun and they smelt great.. but haven’t tried it again after declaring that I was going to be the next major candle brand..her twins are nearly 9 now 😂😂😊

Damn, I was here for the rim jokes 🙈 😂 love the melty pot thing - I’ve not had anything as posh in my limited candle making experience! I love that you used one of your clam shells. Fabulous idea! Xxx

Very helpful, thank you! I have quite a few ceramic pots I’ve made at my pottery class which would be ideal for candles.

How fun!🕯️I use to make candles in the late 70’s and 80’s. Time to revive the craft! Searching for candle vessels right now! 🪔Thank you for sharing JP!🙋🏼‍♀️🫶🏻🕯️

I adore scented candles, JP! How gorgeous to make your own and have them glowing beautifully from your £300 clam shells! Glad something good has come out of your unplanned treasure hunting. Since I have around one boob's worth of boobs it's unlikely I'll get my kit out anytime soon. Not that anyone would notice...😂

Or have the time to factor in making my own. Candles that is. But I do love a good ol' JP read (laughs incl) and rec. Happy Sunday, lovely.

I have quite a lot of empty small glass candle jars ( I used to re use them as tea light holders) but I may have a go at refilling them as Christmas cracker gifts…Thanks for the inspiration JP!

Good morning JP. I have been on 2 candle making courses and yes it is great fun. The aromas are intoxicating. However so much easier to buy candles or indeed diffusers which I’ve moved on to. Looking forward to your lists, coming soon! 😂❤️

Thanks for the laughs this morning JP! Just the thing for a Sunday morning!

I have to say I'm a little tempted to get a kit but think I'm way too impatient - I always love the thought of crafting but the end result usually leaves alot to be desired! It's on my gift list for my sister though ;) xx
