Wonderful and inspiring JP. I loved pumpkin carving when my daughter was a little 'un and nothing went to waste as we made delicious soups and stews with the innards. I love the phrase, glue your troubles away, sooo perfect for this mindful activity. Thanks for the edible glue recipe. I love the leaves and pressed flower pumpkins so much. And, of course the dead crap, so my cup of coffee. Thanks, JP.
I love these ideas 🍁🌾 and great that you can still eat the pumpkins 🙌🏼 And what can I say, Gabriel Oak 😍🐑💗 Took me right back to O Level English Lit! Be still my beating heart! 💖
Haha! It's Sunday here. Good timing, I get less in my inbox today. These ideas look lovely. It's not something I ever do, but I am particularly interested in the glue. Does it work for papier maché?
I’m swooning over these . The one with the wheat stalks on is my particular favourite. Who doesn’t like rustic ? So beautiful. I’ve got a lot of inside jobs coming up so the garden can rest , so can I . I might be crafty ! Xx
These are some pretty! The edible glue is a fab idea! I loved my flower press when I was little. I did have another one when I was older but goodness knows what happened to it! Xxx
As always another fun project JP! I too hate carving pumpkins! 🎃 I just use colored permanent markers to decorate my pumpkins! I think I’ll follow your example’s and glue some pumpkins up with dried stuff this year for Thanksgiving! I can’t wait for your American Thanksgiving post! Are you going to share your prepare ahead recipes for Christmas dinner this year? I so enjoyed that last year!🎄🍽️😋🙋🏼♀️🫶🏻
Hey Chriss, yes I’m going to be sharing some recipes given to me by an old American friend. I will also release the prepare ahead for Christmas post, but want to add to it. Xx

Thank you Franny. I’m looking to make quite a few soups and other dishes from my harvest this year.
I don’t like Halloween either, but I could deffo get on board with autumn decor!
It’s a very gentle, friendly craft. 🍁

That’s when I read it first too!
These are all so pretty JP, my Acers are such pretty colours at the minute I think I will snip some off today and give this a go. Xx
It’s so easy Elaine. Hope you try it.

Ha ha! Yes Annie it works brilliantly for papier maché.
I’m not a fan of Halloween either and if I’m honest autumn decor is still mostly in the cellar! Maybe I’ll dig it out tomorrow… 🎃🍁🍂
Oh go on Sandra, dig it out!
If this sciatica does one I just might 🙌
Living in a condo I’m always so jealous of those with front porches. However, there’s always the balcony! 🌾
Balcony styling can be magnificent Erin! 🍁🎃
Indeed it can! But you always want what you haven’t got. 🥀
That is very true
Marvellous as ever. Crown Prince - the BEST squash in the kitchen too
And thank you
I’ve never tried one Mark, but I will be this year. If you have a recipe let me know.
I love this idea and you’ve inspired me to have a go. I also loved the pumpkins you did last year which you covered in blue paint. X
Oh that tutorial is still on my substack xx

Good to have a breather Nic. Have fun indoors.

Just make one out of heavy books Penny xx
So creative! Love the Crown Prince ones. When you’re ready to eat them, head to Clare at 5 O’clock Apron on IG for some delicious recipes!
That’s a great tip, thank you!
These are so beautiful JP, safe travels home too!
🩷👍🏻
Fabulous ideas, they look gorgeous.
Thank you Michelle
