Wonderful and inspiring JP. I loved pumpkin carving when my daughter was a little 'un and nothing went to waste as we made delicious soups and stews with the innards. I love the phrase, glue your troubles away, sooo perfect for this mindful activity. Thanks for the edible glue recipe. I love the leaves and pressed flower pumpkins so much. And, of course the dead crap, so my cup of coffee. Thanks, JP.

Thank you Franny. I’m looking to make quite a few soups and other dishes from my harvest this year.

Haha! It's Sunday here. Good timing, I get less in my inbox today. These ideas look lovely. It's not something I ever do, but I am particularly interested in the glue. Does it work for papier maché?

Ha ha! Yes Annie it works brilliantly for papier maché.

I’m not a fan of Halloween either and if I’m honest autumn decor is still mostly in the cellar! Maybe I’ll dig it out tomorrow… 🎃🍁🍂

Living in a condo I’m always so jealous of those with front porches. However, there’s always the balcony! 🌾

I’m swooning over these . The one with the wheat stalks on is my particular favourite. Who doesn’t like rustic ? So beautiful. I’ve got a lot of inside jobs coming up so the garden can rest , so can I . I might be crafty ! Xx

These are some pretty! The edible glue is a fab idea! I loved my flower press when I was little. I did have another one when I was older but goodness knows what happened to it! Xxx

As always another fun project JP! I too hate carving pumpkins! 🎃 I just use colored permanent markers to decorate my pumpkins! I think I’ll follow your example’s and glue some pumpkins up with dried stuff this year for Thanksgiving! I can’t wait for your American Thanksgiving post! Are you going to share your prepare ahead recipes for Christmas dinner this year? I so enjoyed that last year!🎄🍽️😋🙋🏼‍♀️🫶🏻
