The Best Blue Paint Colours in the World
All tried and tested by me so you don’t have to. Plus find out which blue I’ve chosen to cover up that hot pink wall!
It’s no secret that my favourite colour is blue. I’ve used it hundreds of times in the nine house renovations we’ve done so far and I’ll be using it again on our tenth at the barn. I left you on tenterhooks last week as to which shade I’ve chosen to cover up that shocking pink wall in the mezzanine. I’ll be introducing you to a new shade for me and it’s a beauty!
I’ve written about my love of blue before, but I’ve never given you a comprehensive list of the best ones to use and where and how to use them. It’s a colour that a lot of people are scared to use in their home, but we all love a crystalline sea and a summer blue sky, it makes us happy! So trust me, with these shades you’ll be feeling like you’re on holiday in no time.
I have the most ridiculously large collection of tester pots verging on a national collection. At £5 a pop I could probably afford a new cairn terrier with the amount of money I’ve spent over the years, not that Missy, our current, rather snooty, nonchalant and permanently hungry old age pensioner of a pooch needs replacing, but you get my drift. I did just ask her whether she would mind being replaced for a younger model. Her ears pricked up, but otherwise no movement. Any road up, the point is I thought I’d save you the pennies by doing the years of research for you. All of these shades are a sure-fire bet. Just pick the one you like and get painting!
