Since garden designer, Nic Howard came to visit a week or so ago, I’ve been hell bent on continuing to mark things out in the garden, tweak a few things here and there and begin the arduous task of digging. I started filming the process of cutting the lawn shape, paths and borders with an edger, and then removing unneeded turf. But, it was rather scorchio yesterday here in sunny England, and within an hour I was a hot mess. So, I’ll save that for a later installment. But, I am beyond thrilled with how it’s turning out and can’t wait to show you.

A few weeks ago though, I saved some Pulmonaria from the reduced section (or Shelf of Death) of my local garden centre. I have a bit of a thing for a bargain and what looks dead to some, just requires a bit of love and care. It’s a brilliant way to save loads of money, as I wrote about here.

I’m going to be using them in a long narrow shady border, which will sit behind our new garden canopy (fancy name for gazebo). I thought I’d make a short video for you to show you them and while I was there I thought I may as well show you the border.

Behind the paywall I’ll also be talking more about said garden canopy, give you a little dahlia update and tell you about my vintage vessel for dried flowers.

OK, I NEED TO WATCH. SIGN ME UP!
