Introducing ‘Post it and Smile Fridays’

A Friday catch-up, unwind and share for paid members.

Hey everyone, just popping in very briefly to tell you about something new coming up on HOME & HORT this Friday and every Friday thereafter. At 5.30pm UK time on the private chat, we’re going to have our very own version of show and tell and I’m calling it Post it and Smile Friday.

A few years ago I ran a hashtag account on Instagram called Post it and Smile and it was all about sharing anything fun and joyful. I’m bringing it back here but on our private chat.

It’s a chance for us all to get together and say hi, unwind after the week and share one thing that has made you smile. It could be a photo of a plant in your garden, a new lamp you’ve just bought, something that made you laugh, a place you visited, a room you’ve just decorated, anything you like. I’ll start with something that has made me happy and you can all take over from there.

I’m happy for the chat to go in any direction as long as it’s clean and friendly, so if you have a question, or need help from each other on choosing a colour, or dealing with a garden pest, then that’s all good. You can join us all on Friday, or pop on the chat at any other time. There’s always someone willing to say hello.

There’s no reason to be shy. The chat is private and only paid members can see it and comment, or add photos. It’s a place to meet other members and make friends and just generally share a little happiness and joy.

This Friday is extra special as it’s my birthday, so I hope I’ll see a lot of you and we can do a little toast.
